21st World Scout Jamboree:
A World Scout Jamboree is a get together of tens of thousands of Scouts, age 14 to 17, from all around the world, organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement. These World Jamborees are generally held every 4 years; this year it is the 21st World Jamboree. To celebrate 100 years of Scouting, the Jamboree will be held in the UK, where Scouting started in 1907 and where the first Jamboree was held in 1920.

Skeds: If you want to setup a sked with GB100J, please email us at: gb100J@gmail.com. Or click on the "Sked Request" link on the left. We will try to fit you into our schedule so that you can talk to the Scouts visiting the station.
Operating Procedures:
Because we want to show the Scouts visiting the station the fun of Amateur Radio we will give preference to other Scout Stations for "regular" and long QSOs. When contacting us please be understanding and answer the Scout's questions. When there are no Scouts present we might switch to DX-Expidition / Contest style operations to give more Amateur Radio Operators an opportunity to contact GB100J. We are here for the Scouts.
Operators:
GB100J will be run by an international groups of Amateur Radio operators who will give the Scouts at the Jamboree the opportunity to talk to Amateur Radio operators and other Scouts around the world.
QSL info:
All QSLs should go via the buro. Additionally we will also be confirming QSOs via eQSL. As an exception US hams can send their QSL with a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) only (No$$ No irc) to W4RIS 9129-C S.W. 5th Street Boca Raton FL 33428 for a quicker turn-around.
